To celebrate the occasion of Paul Virant's new cookbook, The Preservation Kitchen, The Breslin's April Bloomfield and Virant host a dinner party, with both Michelin-starred chefs preparing a course. Additional courses are prepared by chef Nick Anderer of Maialino and chef Josh Even of The John Dory Oyster Bar with dessert prepared by The Breslin Bar & Dining Room's pastry chef, Jane Tseng. Cocktail hour begins at 7pm, followed by dinner at 8pm. After the event, guests can stay for an after party featuring book signings with Paul & April on The Breslin's mezzanine level where drinks will be available for purchase from a full bar.

The Breslin's own April Bloomfield and Paul Virant, Michelin-starred chef of Chicago's Vie and Perennial Virant met in 2007, when they were both honored as Food & Wine Magazine's Best New Chefs. They became fast friends, bonding over their love of Chez Panisse, charcuterie, pickling and rock'n'roll.
