The ArtBattles mission is to produce live art events and competitions that expose emerging artists to the masses. By presenting the creative process as a form of entertainment, they’ve changed the way artists display their talent and created a new model for exhibition and sales. They believe the exclusivity that confines today’s art culture must be eliminated in order to ensure that art remains engaging and accessible.

Coming from a background rich in the arts, Ben Angotti weaves traditional drawing and painting with fantasy and dream-like imagery. He is highly influenced by classic Renaissance and Japanese samurai symbolism. Ben often uses these themes combined with images of modern sex and violence to make uniquely beautiful and pulpy scenes. For Ben, the visual impact his work inflicts upon a viewer is more important than the idea or meaning behind it.
