Mr. McCarthy performs stand-up comedy all over NYC and has appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. He was a finalist in the NY Underground Comedy Festival 2006 Emerging Comics Contest and featured at Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival 2007 New Faces. Matt has several national on-camera and voice-over commercials and starred in Group Therapy promos on The N. Matt's role as the regular cable guy on Verizon's National campaign even won him an Emerging Comics of New York award. He recently performed his one-man show at the Upright Citizens Brigade in both New York and LA. In addition to his solo work, he also makes short films with Front Page Films with comedians Pete Holmes and Oren Brimer. He can currently be seen on AMC hosting Action Pack with comedian Nick Stevens. He can next be seen in the Will Ferrell/Mark Wahlberg film The Other Guys and he recently taped his solo CD, available on iTunes. Shazam!
