Ace Hotel New York hosts Notes From the Underground, our third annual CMJ hangout sessions, with live music, DJs from some of our favorite independent record labels like Beggars Group, Mom + Pop, Modular Recordings, Frenchkiss Records, FADER Label, White Iris and Third Man til late in the lobby.

Artist Caris Reid leads music-themed collage workshops Wednesday through Friday from 4-7pm.

Wednesday : Fader Label, noon-4pm; Collage Workshop with Caris Reid, 4-7pm; Beggars Group, 5pm-midnight 
Thursday : Collage Workshop with Caris Reid, 4-7pm; Mom + Pop vs. Frenchkiss Records, 5-9pm; Modular Recordings, 9pm-midnight
Friday : White Iris, noon-4pm; Collage Workshop with Caris Reid, 4-7pm; Third Man Records, 5pm-midnight

On Thursday, from 11:30am to 4:30pm, MyMusicRx, Converse and Search Party present CMJoyful, a tuneful afternoon in the lobby. Here's the Thursday live music lineup:
