Every Sunday evening in the lobby, see live local and traveling musicians we think are awesome.  In April, The Curious Mystery bring psychedelic zen country to New York by way of Seattle.

On April 8, Mother Popcorn joins The Curious Mystery for a live set at 11pm. 

The Curious Mystery is a Seattle-based band rooted in the wide open spaces of the American landscape. With lush layers of instrumentation and the trance-inducing vocals of Shana Cleveland, they craft what Pitchfork calls, "unhurried psych-blues, autoharp ghost songs, and Area 51 garage-Americana, with plenty of that old frontier promise."

These enchanted evenings are curated by Chris Tucci, who DJs before, between and after the live sets. It's like a really great mix tape. Everything from Tom Waits, Nina Simone and the Beatles to The Cure, Depeche Mode and The Jesus & Mary Chain. He gathers a bunch of rare recordings and b-sides to spin for you each week.
