'SUP MAGAZINE DJs held a month-long residency in our lobby in January. They're holding their release party for Issue 23 in our basement this Saturday with special guest performances and DJs. They've pulled together a line-up which includes some of NYC's finest and most innovative creators.

Prince Rama play engulfing, tribal psychadelia and their live shows are known to be mesmerizing, putting audiences into a trance-like dancenosis. Robert A. Lowe aka Lichens has quickly become one of the most sought after left-field solo artists having toured with the likes of Godspeed You Black Emperor and Sun 0)). We know him from his former band 90 Day Men but we love his jaw-dropping, improvisational guitar noodlings and insane vocal howls.

Blu Jemz is one of the long-standing DJs out of NYC's best underground record store crew, Turntable Lab, and Lloyd Ski has been wrecking NYC with party jams for years. Together they are Hardy Boyz and have promised to get the dance floor in a frenzy.

When Helen Harris (formerly of all girl rap band OMG Michelle) and Cunty Crawford LaDosha (of the uber stylish and flamboyant House of LaDosha) come together on the decks you can expect a hip-hop set delivered with lots of camp and giggles. And tie-dyed tunics. The pair are a sight for sore eyes.
