    Tonight El Michels of Brookyln-based funk/soul collective El Michels Affair takes the wheel for just one night courtesy of BK rare groove purveyors Truth and Soul Records.

    Other Tuesday nights in August, Truth and Soul presents DJ Akalepse. Truth and Soul travels the world on a mission to unearth rare, soulful jams, compiling a smoldering catalog of re-releases of classic funk, soul, Afrobeat and jazz, as well as new releases by Lee Fields & the Expressions.

    We have DJs and sound installations every night of the week, plus live music on Sundays curated by Chris Tucci. Here's the DJ line-up for August:
