Reservations Policy

Check-in after 3PM.

Check-out at 12PM.

Must be 21 or older to book a room.

Please note that for security purposes, you will be asked to provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in.

Guarantee Policy:

Refundable reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card at the time of booking. Card will not be charged until time of departure or in the event of a cancellation. At check-in, you will be asked to present a valid major credit card in the name of the registered guest.

For non-refundable reservations, the full booking amount will be charged to your card at the time the reservation is made.

Rate/Reservation Validity:

Please note that an electronic reservation confirmation will be provided to you solely for your convenience and that we retain official records of our reservation transactions, including details of dates of stay and room rates. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, modifications or variations between this confirmation and our official records, our official records shall control. Tampering with this confirmation to alter the room rate or any other reservation information is strictly prohibited and may have legal consequences.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your reservation we ask that you let us know at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. If we don't hear from you, a no-show penalty of one night's stay and tax will be charged to the card you provided us. To modify a reservation, please call us at 213.623.3233. Reservations cannot be cancelled via email. 

Reservations designated as non-refundable at the time of booking remain non-refundable regardless of circumstances. 

Early Departure:

Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles reserves the right to assess an early departure fee. When you check-in, you will be asked to confirm your departure date. You may be able to change your departure date without a penalty if your rate plan permits and if you do so before the end of your arrival day. After reconfirming your departure date, if you decide to leave earlier, you may be charged the early departure fee, consisting of one night's room rate and tax. Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.

Maximum Room Occupancy:

Only 2 persons may occupy each room. Large Double Double and Loft rooms can accommodate up to 4 people per room. No unauthorized events or gatherings in guest rooms. Rollaway beds are available for $45 nightly. 

Pet Policy:

We charge $25 per night for pets under 25 lbs. When we say pet we really mean dog, but just get in touch if you have something stranger or larger and we'll try to make it work. No charge for additional pets.

Parking Policy:

Valet parking available. 

Smoking Policy:

All rooms are completely non-smoking. If you light up inside the hotel we must charge a $250 smoking fee to your card, plus taxes. 


Your reservation includes complimentary wireless internet and access to our 24h gym. 

Upstairs bar:

Only registered guests are guaranteed access to Upstairs, depending on capacity restraints. Open seating only.
