Ace Hotel

Ace Hotel and the Palm Springs Art Museum present Art Talk, a series of inquiries into the personal, cultural and political implications of art by the museum's Deputy Director of Education and Public Programs, Robert Brasier.

Robert Brasier is an artist and educator who has been with the Palm Springs Art Museum since 2002. He earned his BFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MA in Art History from the University of Cincinnati. He has held teaching positions at Xavier University and with the California State University Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and has lectured widely on range of topics in the arts.

December 11 – Artists Late in Life: Indomitable Spirits
Many seminal artists have lived long, full lives and produced great works, in many cases, until the very end. Close examination of these works reveals complex and powerful expressions very different from the work produced earlier in their careers.
