LA noise rockers Batwings Catwings fill the Amigo Room with sonic fuzz, with a little help from HABITS.

Emerging from LA's bustling garage rock scene, Batwings Catwings stand out with a heavyweight power-pop sound carved out of granite. Axe man Ray Santillan's convention-center-big riffs stomp along anchored by the bedrock strong bass of Joshua Crampton (Luna is Honey) and mitts-of-fury drumming of Clay Johnson (Mock Duck), unbound by the holy terror of Dana Poblete's (Puppy Dog) raging vocals. Their debut EP, Peacock Collection, is a noisy as hell dose of punk-infused adrenaline.

HABITS is a potentially hazardous biproduct from the nether regions of Dustin Krapes' imagination -- the off-the-rail synths, jarring drums and clutch-the-pearls inducing, shuddersome vocals at a HABITS live set rumble through the congregated spawning convulsions and yelps of befuddled joy.
