The Blank Tapes bring their psychoactive basement sound to the Amigo Room.

The Blank Tapes started as Matt Adams and an 8-track tape recorder in garages, basements and sheds across the California coast. Lately he's joined onstage by Pearl Charles, DA Humphrey and Will Halsey.

The four piece craft lo-fi garage rock that "somehow evokes Belle and Sebastian, Pavement and The Black Keys, says Rolling Stone. They recently toured Europe, Brazil and Japan with the likes of Thee Oh Sees and R. Stevie Moore. They're currently finishing up a new studio album called Vacation to be released in early 2013.
