    The Blank Tapes bring their psychoactive basement sound to the Amigo Room with some help from DJ D Rad.

    The Blank Tapes started as Matt Adams and an 8-track tape recorder in garages, basements and sheds across the California coast. Lately he's joined onstage by Pearl Charles, DA Humphrey and Will Halsey. The four piece craft lo-fi fuzz that "somehow evokes Belle and Sebastian, Pavement and The Black Keys," says Rolling Stone. LA Weekly called them one of the top five garage bands in LA, which may have some parallels with being a top three arena rock band from Wichita.

    DJ D Rad is a surf bum and rock n' roll DJ residing at the bottom of the boulevard of broken dreams.
