DJ Victor Rodriguez has punk rock attitude with a disco soul. He DJs from his heart. An influential promoter, Victor assisted in building the LA club scene in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s through his association with legendary clubs White Chocolate, Plastic Passion, and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Currently he presides over the decks at Beige, which has drawn a crowd every Tuesday for 11 years. And with DJ Chris Bowen, he has established a re-birth of the downtown club culture with their party Shits&Giggles. Playing since before he legally could enter the clubs, Victor has amassed a collection of the best in downtempo, funk, disco, rock and anything non-commercial. With genres ranging from 1930s jazz to recent underground dance, he can please any audience. Victor’s strength lays in maintaining his unique style while making dance floors and partygoers go crazy.
