Booby Trap! is a sapphic monthly LA party hosted by DJs Kim Anh and Anon. Inspired by disco era glamor, 80s dance liberation and 90s style kitschy-cool Booby Trap! is an innovative, over-sexed and unpredictable party movement known for keeping the dance floor churning with a high energy mix of disco, house, synth wave and dance punk music.

Special guests on the decks at Booby Trap! have included artists like LCD Soundsystem, Sam Sparro, Chromeo, Ladyhawke & Kim Ann Foxman and Booby Trap! has hosted parties with Project Runway, Flaunt Magazine and Outfest. Named "Best Place to be Admired" by LA Weekly, Booby Trap! has expanded to the East Coast with regular events in New York City.

DJ Alf Alpha and The Coachella Valley Art Scene host World Famous Sadie Hawkins Dance Party, a Dinah Shore weekend dance and craft party in the Amigo Room. DJ Alf Alpha rocks the turntables with pan-global party music and the Coachella Valley Art Scene sets up free crafting tables for when you need a break from the dance floor. 

Alf Alpha is a DJ and producer born and raised in the Coachella Valley, currently living in LA. He's an Ace and Palm Springs favorite, and he pley so good.

The Coachella Valley Art Scene, founded by mover & shaker Sarah Scheideman, is a cultural hub for local desert art and nightlife community, and aims to nurture and celebrate all the vibrant and nascent creative energy blossoming in the Valley. They are also not @$%&ing around when it comes to making art after a few drinks at the Amigo Room.

Hot Tramp : Sadie Hawkins is in the Amigo Room and free to anyone old enough to buy a cocktail. Booby Trap! pool parties are...wait for it!...poolside, and they are all ages.
