    We're celebrating local and independent film at Ace. Renowned independent sci-fi masterpiece Enemy Mind premieres at Ace Palm Springs, screening with local entries for the 48 Hour Film Project. And there's an afterparty, Thank God It's Sunday, with The Human Jukebox.

    Enemy Mind, featuring Oscar winning actor Ernest Borgnine, is already gaining enormous critical acclaim, heads above larger budget, mainstream sci-fi films. It was shot entirely on location in the Coachella Valley on a budget of $9,000, and is being lauded for its masterful character development, unprecedented in the sci-fi genre. It's a truly incredible film and we can't wait to watch it with you.
