Jul 1 12:00PM // Poolside & Amigo Room
Join us for Fourth of July weekend at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club featuring a lineup of great DJs and live performances all weekend long.
Thursday June 30 : Amigo Room : Reunion w/ DJ Day - Returning from his successful "Way Out of Living" Euro tour, a rejeuvated and re-invigorated DJ Day comes to rock his weekly dance party for all the Coachella Valley natives and the incoming patriotic weekenders.
Friday July 1 : Amigo Room : the premiere of our newest residency T.V.O.D. with DJ Sodality, whose experimental and punk-inspired beats are bound to start your weekend off just right. Check out the Amigo Room to hear her spin an intoxicating mix of 80’s, 90’s, new wave, punk, post-punk, glam, and psych.
Saturday July 2 : Swim Club : DJ Desiree – Former Coachella Valley local now kicking it over in Long Beach has been spinning at notable clubs and bars such as El Cid, The Echo, The Derby, Que Sera, Detroit Bar, Club Cohiba, as well as big events for G-Star and Ed Hardy.
Comprised of former members of Hercules and Love Affair, New York City's Jessica 6 has been commanding dance floors for years. In celebration of their debut album, See The Light, the band hits the road once again with their hypnotic live show.
PUNCHES is the Brooklyn-based late night disco project of twin brothers Greg and Darin Bresnitz -- who can be found tearing it up as DJ duo Finger on the Pulse -- and nightlife pioneer Alan Astor, who got crowds up and dancing with his 2005 solo hit "Fantastic Fantasy."
Hot off his performance at this year’s Coachella, Alf Alpha has been on a roll with huge DJing gigs, most recently for Adidas. His style can’t be pinned down and he can transform himself into whatever the vibe is calling for be it hip-hop, world, soul, electro, doo-wop, disco, and everything in between.
Sunday July 3 : Swim Club : DJ Soozee
Listening to Amanda Jo Williams' rough-shod country-folk is like eating a squirrel stew supper before falling into bed, where you then lie awake and hear the haunted scrabbles of raccoons, coyotes and bears and wonder if you staggered out there, would you be eaten alive or inducted into some ritualistic animal society. Her primal music is an open maw to the mysteries and fears of the world. With a twang-heavy voice that sometimes breaks into manic gibberish, she sounds like an unruly, sometimes lonely, little girl left to her own devices.
Monday July 4 : Swim Club : DJ Desiree and DJ Soozee
Monday July 4 : King’s Highway: 7pm-9pm : Sissy Bingo w/ The World Famous singing hostess Linda Gerard – Linda keeps the atmosphere light, filling the space with her energy, her enormous sunglasses and her flamboyant style. She certainly has a way with Judy Garland tunes. Come for Linda, stay for bingo and the great prizes.
Monday July 4 : Amigo Room : Broadway Piano w/ Mark Lee – Former member of The Village People
