We're celebrating our 3rd annual Jewish Soulstice Weekend with LA Exodus, December 23-25 at Ace Hotel & Swim Club. East Side Jews, Reboot and The Jewish Federation host a weekend of music, comedy, yoga, Jewyness, ritual, Hanukkah, hiking and fun times for everyone.

Friday night, King's Highway serves up a scrumptious 3-course feast made from locally-sourced provisions. Afterwards, singer-songwriters Terra Naomi, Brian Joseph and Talia Osteen play acoustic sets by the communal fire pit.

Saturday night, we'll host a Chinese buffet-style dinner featuring beef with broccoli and all your favorites, followed by a night of story telling and yukking it up with funny people Moshe Kasher, Morgan Murphy and Jason Nash.

There’s plenty more to do all weekend long: Grab your yoga mat and zen out with Zach Lodmer from Om Shalom Yoga. Hobnob with brilliant Rabbis Sharon Brous, Susan Goldberg and David Kasher as they lead discussions on Hanukkah, assimilation and nightvision. Turn up your headphones and take a trippy, audio-guided hike of the desert. And bring the kids—when they’re not busy swimming or enjoying movie night, they can make art and crafts all weekend long at our Light Factory (don’t worry—it’s supervised).

4:30pm: Candle lighting -- Shabbat and Menorah, at the Commune

5-11pm: A 3-course Soulstice Feast at King's Highway (see above for reservation info)

7pm: Ultimate Dreidel at the Commune

8:30pm: Singer-songwriters Terra Naomi and Brian Joseph perform live acoustic sets by the communal fire pit

8am: Yoga with Zach Lodmer from Om Shalom Yoga

9:45am-12:45pm: Light Factory –- family oriented workshops at the Commune (babysitting will be provided)

10-11am: Conversation with Rabbi Sharon Brous at the Clubhouse

11am-12pm: Conversation with Susan Goldberg, Clubhouse

12-1pm: Conversation with Rabbi David Kastner, Clubhouse

2-4pm: OFFSITE : Saturday Soulstice –- Guided experiential hike in the desert

2-4pm: Light Factory – Making hats and costumes for light parade at the Commune (babysitting provided)

5-6pm: Gathering for Light Parade/Havdallah/Menorah Lighting, Commune

6-7pm: Chinese Buffet Dinner (see above for reservation info), Commune
