Moon Pearl and Religious Girls stir some souls and maybe perform a mass conversion or two in the Amigo Room.

Based in Irvine, California, Moon Pearl is an evolving expression of loud, noisy, powerful, energetic jubilance. With no claim to virtuosity, the discord they set loose somehow finds its way, cat-like, back into the fold of a semi-cohesive, all-joyous din.   

Religious Girls is a group of multi-instrumentalists from musical backgrounds that range from metal to noise to math rock to pop. Layering blankets of harmony over intricate percussion in non-repeating, mathematical song structures, they prefer to play off-stage, on the floor, fostering an intimate interaction with the crowd as they unravel an intensely mosaic set.
