    Ace Hotel and Victor Rodriguez present a weekend of ceremony, music and good food for New Year's Eve this year. We've got a  5-course feast in King's Highway, followed by a NYE party in the Commune. Ring in the new year with hangover pool parties,
    DJs and a ceremonial bush burning to shoo off the bad spirits of yesteryear. Some of what's in store for the feast includes Seared Giant Sea Scallop, Harissa Lamb, Sea Bass, and Blackberry-Infused Bourbon Panna Cotta with Ginger Gelato, among many other dishes. See the full menu below.

    Here's the schedule so far -- but stay tuned as things develop:

    Friday, New Year's Eve
    A grand feast (see menu below) followed by a ceremonial bush burning and party at the Commune with DJs Victor Rodriguez, Chris Bowen, Jeremy Pelser (House of Stank NYC) and Sean Bumgarner. This event 21 and over. Tickets are $25 or free to guests and to those who purchased a dinner reservation ($95, includes 5 courses and the Commune party).

    Saturday, January 1
    Hangover pool party in the afternoon with Spank, Will Automagic and Sean Bumgarner.

    Sunday, January 2
    Special New Year's edition of Children of the Sun with Victor Rodriguez and a merry band of DJs by the pool.

    STARTERS:
    + Seared giant sea scallop, honey turnip puree, crispy parsnip, wilted arugula
    + Crispy duck leg confit, chestnut puree, beluga lentil & brunoise mirepoix ragout
    + Portobello mushroom carpaccio, winter green and chicory bundle, truffled shallot vinaigrette

    PASTA:
    + Spinach & smoked ricotta pillows, chanterelle mushroom, English pea & pancetta burro fuso
    + Kabocha squash agnolotti, Forelle pear puree, brie fondue

    MAINS:
    + Harissa lamb T-bones, warm white bean puree, sautéed brussel sprout chiffonade, crispy leeks
    + Vintage Prime bone in ribeye for 2, horseradish mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, Cowboy relish
    + Sea Bass, corn pudding, lemon roasted finger potatoes, truffle-scented butter sauce
