    Gothic Tropic and special guests hold it down at our twice-monthly Friday band residency Revolver in the Amigo Room.
    Echo Park's Gothic Tropic is the garage-jungle project of guitarist and vocalist Cecilia Della Peruti, bassist Daniel Denton and drummer Liv Marsico. Their sound wavers somewhere between the Stooges and Alice Coltrane, buttressed by strains of Dizzy Gillespie and Chano Pozo. They play August 24 with James Supercave.
