Birthed in the year 2011, Secret Lodge Recordings arose from a desire to shed light on the hidden web of underground musical relationships. Place matters. Great bands of our time arise not only as the result of their influences, but as because of the uniqueness of their musical location.

The label is set to press their first high-quality, eco-friendly vinyl album this fall -- VUM's sophomore release, Night Sun, is a journey into the depths of the jungle, featuring recordings made in both Neil Young's former studio and amongst the twisted leafy branches of Polynesia.

Secret Lodge has begun their journey in sonic revelation through gatherings. Secret Lodge Party 001 took place at an unannounced location in Topanga Canyon, California. Many found their way there to unforgettable mountain-top sets by VUM & the Abigails. What will come of Secret Lodge Party 002? That's up to you.
