His Santa Monica weekly, Afro Funké, has gathered loyal crowds for over eight years, featuring guest DJs like Rich Medina and Cut Chemist, and impromptu jam sessions with the likes of Zap Mama and Stevie Wonder. He started the nomadic LA-based monthly, theLIFT with DJ Wiseacre and his eclectic globe-spanning mixes on KCRW are streamed by avid listeners throughout the world.

Championed by Gilles Peterson and Jazzy Jeff, DJ Day is a producer, DJ and musician from Palm Springs, and one of the founding members of the Innernational crew. Having worked with artists such as Aloe Blacc (Stones Throw), Clutchy Hopkins (Ubiquity), and doing extensive remix work for the likes of Quantic, Alice Russell and People Under the Stairs, Day has always shown musical diversity while bringing a style all his own. He has shared the stage with artists from Amy Winehouse to Eminem. Day is currently following up his successful first full length "The Day Before" with a new album.
