T.V.O.D. is a DJ night unlike any other here in the desert. DJ Sodality spins rad music and welcomes the occasional special guest.

This month, Sodality is joined by stargazing electropop duo Soft Metals and gloomcore duo Cosmetics.

Soft Metals is Soft Metalists Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall. Inspired by experimental electronic sounds, film soundtracks, early industrial music, minimal synth, house, techno, synth pop, krautrock, psychedelic rock and shoegaze, Ian and Patricia build songs from moody, improvised sessions together using exclusively electronic instruments. The freedom gives them a diverse sound somewhere between dance music, austere synthetic pop and experimental electronic composition.

Montreal's Cosmetics is a duo that makes music for dancing with a touch of gloom. Their compositions are the fruition of slow, methodical nights spent weaving spartan rhythms, chilly synths and breathy vocals into something your shadow can feel.
