Ubiquity Records rolls into town from Costa Mesa for a weekend of good sound in the Amigo Room and poolside with DJ Thomas PM and friends. 

A percussionist and a sound selector, DJ Thomas PMs stylistic diversity reflects his eclectic taste in music: funk, soul, rare groove, jazz, afrobeat, and disco. He has DJed up and down the west coast for the past ten years -- with a stint in Tokyo, where he founded the club "Tune in Tokyo" in 2003. While holding down residencies at Avalon's Stereo Hustle/From the Soul and in Costa Mesa for Spectral Thursdays, Thomas PM spends his days working in the trenches at Ubiquity records.  

12pm - 5pm : Swim Club
10pm - 2am: Amigo Room 

Ubiquity Records is an offshoot of San Francisco's Groove Merchant, a longtime haven for rare finds well-known to collectors, beatmakers and DJs. Ubiquity has several imprints: Luv n' Haight re-issues rare groove gems, CuBop is the Latin jazz arm, and Ubiquity does a wide range of releases from hip-hop to funk to electronic music.
