To celebrate the first edition of Design Week Portland, CreativeCares hosts a Launch Party to start off a week of events that highlight the very best in design thinking and practice in PDX. This event provides a full view of the events surrounding Design Week and introduces the 2013 CreativeCares Do-Gooders Awards.

The Do-Gooders Awards recognize some of the inspiring pro-bono creative work happening in the Pacific Northwest. Categories include print, photography, film/video, digital and best integrated campaign as produced by students, individual/small groups, and agency contributors.

Some design industry gurus will take the mic to discuss what Creative Philanthropy means to them. DJ Nature is the sound provider for the evening. Refreshments provided by Black Star Beer, Drink AIR, Widmer Brothers and New Deal Distillery.
This event is presented in partnership with the Governor's Office of Film & Television, Filter and Modern Edge.
