    Please join us for a tribute to the finest food from an era of innovation with a 4-course feast and wine pairing at Clyde Common at Ace Hotel Portland. Omnivorism required (and so are reservations -- see below).

    Le Bernardin, Le Cirque, Lutèce, and Montrachet were the country’s culinary hot spots. Chefs like Gilbert Le Coze and Alfred Portale were just beginning to emerge from their kitchens to become the first “celebrity” chefs. United by French culinary traditions and inspired by modern ingredients, these men pioneered a new understanding of American cuisine.
